RULES FOR POSTING ON HST

Instead of emailing or messaging the Admins or Mods with technical support questions or comments about the site, we prefer you check here to see if someone else has had the same difficulty or has made the same suggestion. What you're after might have already been posted and addressed here or within the FAQ. If not, please post a detailed description of the problem/suggestion and someone from the HST team will address your needs shortly. If you can't login/post and are unable to reset your password on your own, you may contact us directly.

HIGH SIERRA TOPIX RULES AND REGULATIONS:

Posting of any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may be offensive or violate any applicable laws will not be tolerated. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. An explanation for doing so may or may not be provided. A warning may or may not be provided.

While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable. The moderating team cannot be present 24hrs/day. We will do our best to enforce the rules, but every now and then offensive material will go unnoticed. Also, we will try to be as fair as possible in what (or who) we edit, delete, or ban. However, we are not perfect, and by registering for HST you acknowledge that we are not required to give explanations for any of our actions. This is a FREE website, and you are more than welcome to move on if you have a problem with the way these forums are run.

Blatant postings of SPAM, and postings where the intent is to advertise or promote products or services will not be tolerated. Such posts will be immediately removed unless permission was given to the poster in advance by the Moderating team. If you have any questions as to what is or is not acceptable, please email or PM one of our Moderators prior to posting.

As a user you agree to any information you submit to this website being stored in a database and publicly displayed. Any content you submit will be considered public domain. While your personal information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

This forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you entered in your profile/registration; they serve only to improve your viewing pleasure. The e-mail address is used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one). Email notification of new personal messages (PM’s) is an option you may turn on or off in your profile. Once in a blue moon, the mass-email function may be used by the Administrator to send urgent updates and announcements. This administrative power will not be abused.

By registering for HST, you have agreed to be bound by the above conditions.

Regards,

The Admin
