Our Tuolumne Meadows rangers have been busy this week! As of yesterday morning, they measured 82 inches of new snow in Tuolumne Meadows since January 27. Travel for them (on ski or snowshoe) is very difficult, to near impossible, due to the depth and low density of the snow. Additionally, the avalanche danger is high so traveling in avalanche terrain is unsafe. In the meantime, they are digging out best they can and will have a full report next week.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
