This article by mountain climber Ryan Kushner is an incredible read and the photos and YT videos that go with it are amazing. It's about life, death, adventure, and yes, even climate change (not the focus, but it's in there). Settle down for a couple of hours. Get out the popcorn and hot chocolate (or sparkling water if you prefer).

Thanks Rightstar! It was a great read. While I don't understand the desire to enter such dangerous areas where you can do everything right and still die or even the slightest slip can result in death I did admire and respect the authors decision to turn around, and to do so when others were willing to go on. To me that takes real courage
