PG&E Power Shutoff
Are all you HST members in the affected areas ready for no electricity?

Re: PG&E Power Shutoff
Yes. Just another adventure in using the camp stove if need be, and filtering the water from my pool.
I love threats. If they do shut off power, the roads will be a mess so just sit tight and wait to see what happens.

Hoping it doesn't happen, and if it does, it will be back on quickly, we have thousands of dollar's of food in our freezer's and refrigerators, which will only last for so long.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Re: PG&E Power Shutoff
I just got confirmation via nixle that parts of my county will shut power starting at midnight. Not sure if that means me yet, and I won't know until at least 2am when I get up to pee. Cell phone is charged. headlamp next to my bed.
A generator will probably start a fire after the power goes out with an extension cord debacle.

Not here. Outside the zone.
If it comes to pass, I have generators, firewood, propane, et al.

EDIT: Nope, I'm good. Not in the outage zone.
