From a quick overnighter to Sabrina Basin last summer.

Re: SIERRA INSPIRATION PHOTOTHON!
All very nice fishmonger, and SirBC, and we love Nancy's weird and colorful Convict Creek shots, but I count 11 images without a single dog in them. We think 10 dogless images should be the limit. Hence:
This here dog on the trail...
And one more, since fish doesn't even include stuffed animals anymore. What happened to "Muir Trail Veteran" Dude?
Bearzy, gazing at Mount Ritter, day-dreaming of his future climb up those high snowfields.

Bearzy does provide a splash of color in your otherwise stark photos of dark rock and snow. Perhaps, some colorful, fashionable doggy clothing would perk up the photos even more!

Bearzy asked if he could have his full tail back too.Bearzy does provide a splash of color in your otherwise stark photos of dark rock and snow. Perhaps, some colorful, fashionable doggy clothing would perk up the photos even more!

Re: SIERRA INSPIRATION PHOTOTHON!
No dogs in my images. My pups would not enjoy the rough granite and hate wearing booties (we have them for our winters). Plus, I keep going into those National Parks where they aren't welcome.
Morning near Alger Lakes, looking at Kuna, Koip, and Parker Peaks at the end of the valley. Blacktop Peak is somewhere behind the tall looking ridge on the left.
Morning light from camp at Alger Lakes
Later that day I skirted past Bearzy's stomping grounds and spent a few miles on the JMT before I bailed on my SHR plans due to spotting what looked like far too much of the white stuff on the second pass past 1000 Island. Later I realized I wasn't looking at the actual pass but the next saddle up. Oh well...instead I got to spend some time on my favorite PCT stretch down to Agnew Meadow. There are no bad choices of route in that area.
