Found GPS
I found a GPS in the Mountains. If anyone lost one and can prove to me
that it is theirs, I will be happy to return it. Just provide the following information: Make and Model and where and when you lost it.

You might look into it's menus and try to find if there's an "owner's information" page that might hold the owner's phone number. My eTrex Legend displays my name and address when it's first booting up.

tomcat's friend found a waypoint that said "home". It took him to the owner's house.

How are the waypoints named? Are they:
1) numbered eg, 001, 002
2) do they all start with a GC, eg GCXY12 (these are geocaching waypoints)
3) do they appear to be abbreviations?, eg, DESRT, PEAKAB, GOLER (these are smart names for geocaches)
The reason I ask, is that if they are geocaching waypoints, I could post something on the San Diego geocaching forums.
