So I am living in a trailer on my property, not going to build this summer as want to have fun..ie hike/backpack, will build the next summer. Nevada dept of forestry has reseeded and chained most of my land and across 395, so hopefully that will help with shrubs and prevent cheatgrass, they did this as this area is a deer migration area and to be an experiment somewhat. As for trees the pinyon pines will not really come back in my lifetime so am planting as money is available different trees to help block the view of 395 and block the wind some. So overall doing well planning on a 10 day peakbagging trip by ladder lake, unfortunately before the meetup.
Thanks again for everyone!

That's a great effort planting trees. We hope they take root. And we hope you are doing well on your land again; we were very sorry to hear about your losses, and hope that all your living creatures made it. The Harlens.
