Cherry Creek Kayak Video

Post by Sierra_Summits »

I just saw this on YouTube and was amazed at the balls these guys have! Pretty cool to see kayakers going through cherry bomb gorge.

Thanks for the pointer, his videos are a treat. I also recommend Dane Jackson's 2019 video of his descent of the Middle Fork of the Kings River. I haven't watched it yet, but I see he just uploaded a new one of a 2021 descent of the Middle Fork. It's a perspective of the river that I will certainly never have. To borrow one of Dane's favorite expressions, those guys are "stout".

I really like Dane Jackson's videos as well and I subscribed to his channel some time ago. However, I only like to watch the videos where he goes down creeks/rivers that have clear water. The ones where the water is all brown and muddy don't interest me.

The Cherry Creek videos are all awesome, but my favorite is the one where he goes down the narrow El Rio Claro river in Chile https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXFehwLKO6I

Call me crazy but it actually looks like it would be very fun to do.

Pretty cool video
