Inyo Road Closure Update 5/25

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Re: Inyo Road Closure Update (168 Above Aspendell Closed For The Season).

The road is currently plowed from the Aspendell gate to the Sabrina Lake Campground, but only one lane wide and the gate is still closed. I don't see anywhere that says the road is to be closed all summer and Caltrans is clearing the portion they control.

c9h13no13,

Just got off the phone with Inyo. They said, whoever wrote this up, should have wrote for the "Winter Season". They have gotten several inquires due to this write up.

Thanks Mav for the update. They said the road to Parchers will open this weekend. I saw a video of someone driving the road to Parchers on their facebook page.
