Dirt road to Clover Meadow

Post by Eman »

Hey All,

Has anyone been to Clover Meadow recently. I would like to know the condition of the dirt road section to the parking area ?
I did it last year in my honda accord, but with the heavy winter storm,i'm not sure about the condition .

thanks

I went to Granite Creek CG, via Clover Meadow CG, on 9-18-23. The road is quite passable, even with a low-clearance passenger car (I had a little more clearance in a Santa Cruz). Finding the Isberg Pass Trail is another matter...

The North Fork Ranger station will tell you this when you pick up your permit, but there are some detours you must take to get there. Up Beasore Rd., across Grizzly Road to Minarets Rd, then to Clover Meadow.
