whats in your headphones?

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

That was super cool Russ. I kept thinking the dog was going to join in. You know some dogs will "sing" / Howl to certain music. A friend's Scottie would invariably begin to howl along to certain opera tenors. Bearzy howls to every siren that goes by, but I had to help him get howling when I played a video of Alaskan wolves. Thanks for that nice song.

I think this old Nickel Creek song would make me hike faster!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnmKSFXIFqs

and my favorite Santana song here would slow me way down. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDySdFSP5x4

I wonder if you folks who have figured out music in the mountains plan song lists for hiking, and other ones for around camp in the evenings? I really do want to try this out on some of my long solo trips.
